Thank you for visiting Kidint, Inc.'s ("Kidint") Internet web site ("Site") located at the URL: https://parents.kidint.com ("Site") and Mobile App. This Privacy Policy details certain policies implemented throughout our company governing Kidint's use of PII (personally identifiable information) and aggregate information and data about users of our Site and our Kidint App for smartphones and tablets ("Product").

Privacy Policy Updates

Due to the Internet's rapidly evolving nature, Kidint may need to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If so, Kidint will post its updated Privacy Policy on our Site located at https://parents.kidint.com/intl/privacy and post notice of the change on the Site. Kidint encourages you to review this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes. Your continued use of the Site and/or Product will be subject to the terms of the current Privacy Policy.

Information we collect

  1. Account Registration Information. When you register for an Account, we may ask you for certain personal identifying information, such as first and last name, e-mail address, credit card number, and physical address (“Personal Information”). The Parent provides us with the first name, gender and birth date of each child enrolled.
  2. Refer-a-Friend. You may use our Site and App tools to invite friends to join our Site; we use the names and email addresses you provide to send the invitation.
  3. Site Usage Information. We collect information on usage of the Site, including users’ Site progress, parents dashboards, messaging, favorite books and books’ rating.

If you submit any Personal Information relating to other people to us or to our service providers in connection with the Site or App, you represent that you have the authority to do so and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information and Data Use

We may track the total number of visitors to our Site and App, the number of visitors to each page of our Site and App, browser type, IP addresses, and External Web Sites (defined below) linked to, and we may analyze this data for trends and statistics in the aggregate, but such information will be maintained, used and disclosed in aggregate form only and it will not contain personally identifiable information. Through the Product: Kidint transparently and anonymously tracks and collects information about your use of the Product, including the type of operating system on which you use the Product, the version of the Product you are using, the types of activity for which you use the Product, the number of times you use the Product, the duration of use of the Product, the specific stories read using the Product, the types of buttons that you tap when using the Product and the types of technical problems that you may incur during use of the Product. The information extracted from this data is maintained, used and disclosed in aggregate form only and will not contain any personally identifiable information.

Kidint uses the aggregate information and data collected from usage of the Site and the Product to deliver Product updates to users, track Product usage, analyze trends, administer and improve the Site's and/or Product's content, design and features and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. We may use your personally identifiable information to contact you to deliver certain information that you have requested.

Disclosure

We will not sell or transfer any personally identifiable information that we may collect to any company or organization, except that we may transfer any personally identifiable information to a successor entity upon a merger, consolidation or other corporate reorganization in which Kidint participates. Children's Privacy

Although we collect personally identifiable information from parents, we do not collect such information from your child. Any child under the age of 13 using the service must do so with permission from a parent. All full names, email addresses, and credit card billing information must be from a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information (including full name, email address, telephone number or home address) from children under the age of 13 in our app. We encourage parents to take an active role in their children's activities and interests on their devices. When registering your child with the service, Kidint may ask a series of general questions including your child's age, interests and gender. This information is used to customize content to your child's age and interests. We do not use or disclose this information for any other purposes except to provide you with quality service. Any data that is shared is done so on an anonymous, aggregate basis among all users or is related to communicating reading behavior patterns to publishers.

Security

We may employ procedural and technological security measures that are reasonably designed to help protect against loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of information and data, such as password protection and secure socket layer.

Processing of Personal Information

Our computer systems are currently based in the United States, so personal data will be processed by us in the U.S. where data protection and privacy regulations may not offer the same level of protection as in other parts of the world, such as the European Union. Payment and Unsubscribing, Questions, Feedback

If you make payment for your subscription using our website payment is made ​​safely through Paymentwall. At the time you make the payment, your registration details may be transferred to Paymentwall, in order that the company through its payment processing system can protect against unauthorized movements.

If you have subscribed Kidint from our website and you would like to opt out of communication from Kidint! you can do so on the “billing” section within your account.
